With more than two decades of legal practice in California, Gregory Gillett has developed a broad and substantive background in civil and criminal litigation, appellate work, administrative proceedings, tribal court practice, and matters involving public policy. He has served as lead counsel in a wide range of complex cases, bringing disciplined preparation, clear analysis, and steady courtroom presence to each matter.
Beyond his trial practice, Mr. Gillett serves as a mediator and settlement conference referee, roles in which he is valued for his fairness, clarity of thought, and ability to assist parties in resolving difficult disputes. His work in these settings reflects a commitment to principled decision-making and a deep respect for the legal process.
Mr. Gillett also devotes a portion of his practice to family law matters involving children, guided by a deep sense of responsibility to the families who rely on the legal system during difficult times. He brings the same rigor and care to this work as he does to his broader litigation practice, with particular attention to the well-being of minors. In support of this commitment, he has contributed to statewide trainings for minor’s counsel, helping to strengthen the quality of representation for children across California.
As the principal of Gillett Law, APC, he provides leadership in shaping the firm’s direction and ensuring the delivery of thoughtful, reliable legal counsel. His practice reflects a consistent focus on careful analysis, professional integrity, and a measured, practical approach to the challenges clients bring to the firm.
