Courtney M. Lane

Courtney M. Lane is a member of the civil litigation team at Gillett Law, representing clients in both our San Luis Obispo and San José offices in family and estate litigation. A native of the Sacramento area, Courtney brings a broad and dynamic professional background to her legal practice.

Before entering the legal field, Courtney had a successful career as a marketing executive, advising businesses on branding, outreach, and strategic growth. She also worked as a licensed realtor, gaining hands-on experience in real estate transactions and property negotiations—insight that now strengthens her legal work in civil matters.

In addition to her litigation practice, Courtney draws on her prior experience in estate planning and trust administration. She has a deep appreciation for the communities of North County San Luis Obispo, where she enjoys spending time and maintaining close ties.
